INFORMATION SOCIETY

In 2005, within the Operational Program “Information Society”, IATAP implemented the project “Training in basic ICT use skills with the choice of PowerPoint”, the natural object of which is the professional assistance of 96 unemployed, high school graduates, of the Prefecture Drama and the promotion of their employment with a focus on training in basic computer skills, within the framework of the certified ECDL program.

PRIVATE FINANCING

In 2009, IATAP undertook the project “Design and Production of Educational Materials entitled “VOLUNTEER TRAINING”” and organized activities with the aim of creating incentives and implementing the educational program, based on the ideals of social contribution and the model of equal participation and access for all of citizens in sports activities and cultural events.

EMPLOYMENT AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING

The project undertaken by IATAP is entitled “Training of the Unemployed in certified Vocational Training Centers (VET) 2004-2006”, within the framework of which 2 sub-projects are implemented:

“Secretarial support – techniques for Office Organization using a computer”

“Modern Marketing and Product Promotion Techniques”

LYDIA LITHOS

Το πρόγραμμα αυτό είχε ως αντικείμενο το σχεδιασμό και τη δημιουργία ενός πρότυπου εξ’ αποστάσεως εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος σε μορφή Cd- rom, , σε συνεργασία με φορείς από την Γαλλία και τη Γερμανία. Στόχος του προγράμματος ήταν μέσω της εκπαίδευσης και πληροφόρησης των εργαζομένων σε βιομηχανίες εξόρυξης και επεξεργασίας μαρμάρου, η αναβάθμιση και προσαρμογή των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών τόσο σε θέματα διαχείρισης ανθρώπινων πόρων όσο και σε θέματα διαδικασιών και προτύπων παραγωγής, στα πλαίσια των επερχόμενων αλλαγών και νέων προκλήσεων στη βιομηχανία.

EUROPEAN YEAR OF LIFELONG EDUCATION AND TRAINING

The I.A.T.A.P. participated by conducting a competition and awarding students from the Chemical Engineering and Production and Process Engineering schools, on the subject of Lifelong Training in their Professional field.

SOCRATES

The objective of the program was the Development of Innovative Language Educational Modules Based on Community Languages through the Open and Distance Education method.

LEONARDO DA VINCI

The program, entitled Industry – Research Liaison Officers, aimed to connect university and laboratory research with industry, through the preparation of a training needs study and the development of an educational framework and methodology for the training of experts in industry-research liaison issues and the its pilot application to postgraduates. Also, within the framework of the program, an educational package was developed in the form of a CD-ROM.

The above program was implemented by a network of transnational partners, the coordinator of which was the I.A.T.A.P. consisting of a German University Organization, Social Partners and Technological Institutes of Luxembourg, Portugal and Cyprus.
